Mother Earth Health and Beauty Salon first opened its doors in October 1993.
The opening of the salon provided Crystal Palace with its first beauty
salon. The Salon is open seven days a week, and until 8pm on Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays.

Rubina Latif, the owner had worked in the fashion industry, and world famous
department stores, as a Make up artist and Beauty Therapist, for 10 years.
Her philosophy was to provide a salon which was very different from the ones
she had encountered, an oasis of peace and calm, with the clients needs put
above all else.
“I have been totally committed to providing my clients with the best and
most up-to-date treatments, for the past 20 years. I never wanted a cold,
stark, clinical salon, but a warm, welcoming, and professional environment.
I want my clients to feel that they are in the best possible hands when they
are here at the salon. I know I have achieved this successfully"

In 1999 the salon was voted 7th best salon in the UK by Good House Keeping
Magazine, as voted by the public. In October 2007, the salon was featured twice in London’s ES magazine, who said the salon was “ a West End Standard Salon in South London”

Mother Earth takes a holistic approach to total well being and health and is
a place where men and women can look forward to unwinding. The salon is
warm and inviting, and furnished in neutral colours. The rooms are filled
with the aroma of scented candles, and contoured, heated treatment couches.
The salon is well stocked with a wide range of products and equipment, all
selected on the basis of quality, performance and value for money.
